And one more ... somewhere from net ... But this is L.Entente race for sure.
R. Čopec

I bellieve that this is plane No. 8 or 14 (with Lorraine 450 hp engine) from race in 1927.

Some more pics, unfortunatelly just thumbs from E-bay, I suppose it is same "10" from 1928 ...

I believe that it was taken somewhere in Czechoslovakia, the sign in background KOUŘENÍ PŘÍSNĚ ZAKÁZANO is in Czech and says SMOKING STRICTLY PROHIBITED. We have original picture from straboard side of this particular aircraft and there is clearly visible No 126 on the rudder (white part of tricolor) and on the fuselage. Can you see it on your copy? Have you got contact on buyer of this particular picture? May be he would publish it in prepared book. Rhe last but not least - I can send you picture of YuAF contestant of 1928 (too large to post here) and you can compare people from it with your pictures.

Best regards,

Michal Dub from Czech Republic

I signed this pic with "Prag (Praha)". Suppose that was on source where I find this pic.

So in that case this is Breguet 19 A2 with Hispano-Suiza engine (12ha 450 hp) - from early series which was ordered and produced in french factories (f/e this No.126 in Farman factory) for VV (Vazduhoplovstvo vojske / Army Airforce of KY) KJ in 1926.

I´m affraid that my copy is equally poor as this scan on forum

Unfortunatelly I have no idea who is lucky buyer ...

With pleasure, you can send me that material, but give me some time, ´cause I´m just in last stage on some project (Marko will tell you about it) ... I think you allready have my mail.

Very nice pictures! Unfortunatelly it seems they are not from the race of 1927. Polish crews took part as No. 1, 9, 10 and 11 all of them with Breguet 19. May be the Bre 19.1237 taken in the fist picture took part in...

Michal

I believe the Spad 61 pictures are connected with Polish participation in the Zurich air meeting 8.8.1927...

Just to inform you that first part of the Petite Entente Air Race of 1929 article has been published in Czech Magazine "Hobby Historie" No 22. Second part is going to follow in next issue. It contains 20+ photographs and 5 colour profiles. Many people have helped us and I would like to say thanks here to Robert Čopec, Marko Jeras, Dejan Savić and Damir Stanzer.

Just to inform you second part of the Petite Entente Air Race of 1929 article has been published in Czech Magazine "Hobby Historie" No 23.

Now I concentrate myself on 1928 = I am totally confused by Breguet XIX and Potez XXV version:
Yugoslav Breguet XIX were equipped with Hispano 500 HP engines = Hispano Suiza 12 Hb of 500 HP nominal power?
Yugoslav Potez XXV were equipped with Hispano 450 HP engines = Hispano Suiza 12 Jb of 400 HP nominal power?

prelude Napisao/la:

More s/n recognized in photographs:
Breguet XIX race number 8 has No. 125 on fuselage
Potez XXV race number 11 has No. 26 both on fuselage and rudder.

Michal
